In a brazen act of state-sponsored piracy, the occupying Zionist regime has once again demonstrated its utter disregard for international law and humanitarian principles by intercepting 22 out of 58 aid boats bound for the besieged Gaza Strip. This latest aggression, targeting the second Global Sumud Flotilla, which bravely sought to break the illegal Israeli blockade and deliver vital humanitarian aid to the oppressed Palestinians in Gaza, has ignited a storm of international condemnation.

The vessels, which embarked from Barcelona on April 12, were seized by the Zionist forces late Wednesday in international waters off Greece’s Peloponnese Peninsula, hundreds of miles from Gaza. This audacious act, far beyond its self-proclaimed borders, saw the Zionist regime “kidnap” 211 of the 400 courageous activists on board, including a Paris city councillor. The regime’s foreign ministry, in a desperate attempt to downplay its crimes, claimed only 175 were detained.

International Condemnation Mounts Against Zionist Aggression

Italy vehemently condemned the seizure, demanding the immediate release of its nationals and calling for full respect of international law.
Germany, in a joint statement with Italy, expressed “great concern” and urged adherence to international law and “restraint from irresponsible actions” – a clear rebuke to the Zionist entity.
