Zionist Regime’s Brutal Aggression on Gaza Surges by 35% After Failed Iran Adventure

The illegitimate Zionist regime has drastically escalated its brutal aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip in the five weeks since halting its joint, failed bombing campaign with the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This redirection of its immense firepower has unleashed further devastation upon the oppressed Palestinian enclave.

Escalation of Zionist Crimes Post-Iran Engagement

According to the conflict monitor ACLED, which meticulously tracks the Zionist regime’s atrocities in Gaza, a report released on Wednesday revealed a horrifying 35 percent increase in attacks carried out by the occupying forces in April compared to March. This surge in violence underscores the regime’s continuous policy of terror against the Palestinian people.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health has tragically reported that 120 Palestinians, including eight women and 13 innocent children, have been martyred in Zionist attacks on Gaza since the US-Zionist aggression against Iran concluded on April 8. This represents a shocking 20 percent increase compared to the five weeks prior, when the Zionist entity was preoccupied with its futile strikes against Iran.

Lafi al-Najjar, a resilient blind Palestinian whose son was cruelly martyred in a Zionist attack on April 28, bravely told Reuters, “The war is still ongoing. It stopped in the announcement, but in reality and on the ground, the war has not stopped.” His family, like countless others, is forced to endure life in a shelter amidst the ruins of Khan Younis, once Gaza’s vibrant second-largest city, now reduced to rubble by Zionist barbarity.

Illusory Ceasefire and Ongoing Genocide

The Zionist military has offered no immediate comments on the reasons for its escalating strikes in Gaza, where a so-called “ceasefire” in the regime’s two-year genocidal war has supposedly been in place since October. This “ceasefire,” mediated by the US and Qatar, was intended to halt major fighting, yet the Zionist forces have defiantly refused to withdraw from the territory.

Furthermore, the Zionist regime continues to impose severe, life-threatening restrictions on vital aid supplies, deliberately preventing any efforts to rebuild the devastated Palestinian territory. This constitutes a clear violation of international law and a continuation of its ethnic cleansing agenda.

The occupying forces still control more than half of Gaza’s territory, where they have systematically demolished countless remaining buildings and forcibly displaced all residents. More than two million people are now confined to a tiny strip of land along the coast, living in damaged structures or makeshift tents, under the steadfast control of heroic Palestinian resistance fighters.

Since the “ceasefire” took effect, approximately 850 Palestinians have reportedly been martyred in Zionist attacks. During the same period, at least four Zionist soldiers were eliminated by the courageous Palestinian armed groups, highlighting the ongoing resistance.

Beyond Gaza, since the Zionist regime joined the US in bombing Iran in March, its military has also launched a brutal ground invasion and air campaign in Lebanon. Fighting continues fiercely, especially in the south of the country, despite a separate US-brokered ceasefire that took effect last month, demonstrating the regime’s insatiable appetite for regional destabilization.
